Question by marblebeaches: Is Acne the worst in America vs. foreign countries?
This may be going out on a limb, stereotyping, or whatever you would want to call it, but I feel like america has such an outbreak (so to speak) of acne cases and bad skin, versus places like Japan where the skin is beautiful (i mean i know there IS acne there, but it seems like it’s a lot less than here,) and India (where they have nice, wholesome, herbal remedies and yada yada.)

My question to you is: Is this a completely generalized view that Ihave…
and why does it appear that many people’s skin in foreign countries is so much more beautiful than here? Whattttttttttttttt do they do right! lol Because I have medium acne and for some freaking reasno can NOT get rid of ittttt!!!!!!

  1. In Hannity We Trust says:

    azn teens ARE acne

  2. Chupakabra says:

I’d say america is like that because of the homrones pumped into our food, nothing we eat in america is truly natural anymore basically

I think it’s mostly because of all the oils and preservatives and sugar (and hormones?) that companies put in our foods today. I mean, I know that other countries most likely if not certainly put these kinds of stuff into their commercial/processed/packaged foods, but you’ve got to consider our lifestyle as opposed to theirs too. (Then again, if you look at Tokyo or something…)

I’m not exactly sure on this. Maybe the grass is greener on the other side?

As for me, I don’t break out as often as I used to a few years ago and that’s because my dad told me about an article stating that drinking fatty milk (whole milk, reduced fat, etc) will make it more difficult for you to control acne. I stopped drinking milk (switched to soymilk) and my face cleared up within a week and I had no need for any facial cleansers anymore.
